Route One ELD Mobile App: Features and Platforms

Yes. The Route One ELD driver app is available on both iOS and Android. Drivers can log HOS, complete DVIRs, and view their compliance status directly from their phone.

The Route One ELD driver app is the interface drivers use every day to log their hours, complete inspections, and stay compliant. Here's what it includes.

Platform Availability

The app is available for free on the Apple App Store (iOS 16.6+) and Google Play Store (Android 8.0+). Search "Route One ELD" to find and install it.

HOS Logging

The app's primary function is electronic hours of service logging. It automatically detects driving mode, records duty status changes, and shows your remaining driving time on the dashboard.

Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR)

Before each trip, drivers can complete a pre-trip DVIR in the app. After completing delivery, a post-trip DVIR can be filed. All DVIRs are stored and accessible from the Fleet Portal.

Roadside Inspection Mode

The Inspection tab allows drivers to transmit logs electronically to a DOT officer or display a PDF logbook summary — both options are compliant with FMCSA requirements. See the full roadside inspection guide.

Log Certification

Drivers can review and certify daily logs directly in the app by drawing their electronic signature. How to certify multiple logs at once.

Offline Support

The app continues recording in offline mode when cellular signal is lost. Data syncs automatically when the connection is restored.
