What Happens to My Logs While a Co-Driver Reassignment Is Pending?

The affected day(s) are locked in the Fleet Portal for both drivers while the reassignment is pending. Fleet managers cannot suggest edits to either driver's log during this time.

When a driving time reassignment request is pending, the affected day(s) are locked for both the requesting driver and the co-driver. Neither can make manual edits to those log entries until the co-driver responds.

What Is Locked

- The specific driving event submitted for reassignment is locked on both logs. - Fleet managers cannot suggest edits to the affected day(s) for either driver while the request is pending. - Both drivers can still view the logs — only editing is restricted.

What Is Not Affected

Other days in the log and other events on the same day are not locked. Only the entries directly involved in the reassignment request are restricted.

How to Resolve the Lock

The lock is released as soon as the co-driver approves or rejects the request. If approved, the driving time moves and both drivers must re-certify — see re-certifying after a reassignment is approved. If rejected, no changes occur and the lock is lifted — see what happens when a co-driver rejects.

For the co-driver's steps to respond, see how a co-driver approves a reassignment request.
