If the co-driver rejects the request, the reassignment is cancelled and no changes occur to either driver's log.
If the co-driver rejects a driving time reassignment request, the reassignment is cancelled immediately. No changes are made to either driver's log — everything stays exactly as it was before the request was submitted.
What Happens After a Rejection
- The driving event remains on the requesting driver's log, unchanged. - The co-driver's log is not modified. - The logs that were locked during the pending period are unlocked. - Both drivers regain the ability to edit and certify those days normally.
If the Reassignment Was Legitimate
If you believe the driving event genuinely should have been attributed to the co-driver but they rejected the request, contact your fleet manager. While fleet managers cannot directly initiate reassignments, they can help investigate the discrepancy and may recommend a path to correcting the record.
Re-Submitting a Request
After a rejection, the requesting driver can submit the reassignment again if needed. The co-driver will receive a new notification to approve or reject.
