How Long Does the Fleet Portal Activation Link Remain Valid?

The activation link sent to your email expires after 72 hours. If it expires, you can request a new one directly from the login screen.

After you register a company account on the Route One ELD Fleet Portal, you'll receive an activation email at the address you used to sign up. The link inside that email expires after 72 hours.

Why the Link Expires

Activation links have a limited validity window as a security measure. An indefinitely valid registration link would allow anyone who obtained the email to activate the account at any time.

What Happens if the Link Expires

If you click an expired link, you'll see an error page indicating the link is no longer valid. Your account registration is not lost — the data you entered is saved. You just need to request a fresh link.

How to Request a New Activation Link

Go to client.routeoneeld.com/login and click "Resend activation email" below the login form. Enter the email address you used during registration. A new 72-hour link will be sent within a few minutes.

Check Your Spam Folder First

Before requesting a new link, check your spam or junk folder. Activation emails from Fleet Portal occasionally land there, especially with corporate email filters.

After Activating Your Account

Once your account is active, your next steps are adding your vehicle (see what information you'll need) and creating your driver profile in the Fleet Portal. See the full setup guide to complete the process. If you're an owner-operator, see how to set up both the fleet and driver account at once.
