Log out of the app first. On Android, search Route One ELD in Google Play and tap Update if available. On iOS, search in the App Store and tap Update. If no update button appears, you're already on the latest version.
Keeping your app up to date ensures you have the latest compliance fixes and features. Updates are free and take about a minute.
Step 1: Log Out First
Before updating, log out of the Route One ELD driver app. This prevents session conflicts after the update completes.
On Android
Open Google Play Store. Tap the search bar and type "Route One ELD." On the app page, if an "Update" button appears, tap it. If only "Open" appears, you're already on the latest version.
On iOS (iPhone/iPad)
Open the App Store. Tap your profile icon (top right). Scroll down to "Available Updates." If Route One ELD appears in the list, tap "Update" next to it.
After Updating
Log back into the app. Your data, logs, and settings are preserved — updates never delete local data. If the app asks you to reconnect your ELD device, tap Connect and it will pair automatically. To confirm you're on the latest build, check your app version. If you encounter issues after updating, contact support.
Automatic Updates
You can enable automatic app updates in your phone settings so you always have the latest version without manual steps.
