Yes. The driver receives a push notification in the Route One ELD driver app as soon as the fleet manager submits the edit suggestion. No manual check is needed — the notification is delivered automatically.
What the Notification Contains
The push notification tells the driver that a log edit suggestion is waiting for their review. It typically includes the date of the affected log so the driver knows which day to look at.
Notification Permission Required
Push notifications only work if the driver has granted Notification permission to the Route One ELD app. If the driver has that permission disabled, they will not receive the alert. See what permissions the driver app requires — Notifications is one of the three required permissions.
If the Driver Misses the Notification
If the notification is dismissed or the driver doesn't see it, the pending suggestion is still waiting in the app. The driver can find it manually: 1. Open the driver app and go to **Logs**. 2. Look for a day with a pending review badge or indicator. 3. Tap that day to see the suggested change.
Responding to the Suggestion
Once the driver opens the suggestion, they can review the proposed change and the fleet manager's note, then accept or reject. See how a driver approves or rejects a fleet manager log edit for the full steps.
