The recap screen shows: hours used today, hours available tomorrow (recap), remaining drive time, remaining on-duty time, and the number of days in your current HOS cycle.
The recap screen in the Route One ELD driver app displays five key fields that give you a complete picture of your current HOS position and what to expect tomorrow.
Hours Used Today
The total on-duty time logged today, including both On Duty Not Driving and Driving time. This counts toward your daily 14-hour on-duty window and your 70/60-hour weekly cycle.
Hours Available Tomorrow (Recap)
How many hours will be added back to your available pool at midnight tonight, as the oldest day in your 7- or 8-day rolling cycle drops off. See what is the difference between a 34-hour restart and recap hours for how this works.
Remaining Drive Time
How many hours of driving time you have left today under the 11-hour daily driving limit. Once this reaches zero, you cannot drive again until after a 10-hour off-duty rest period.
Remaining On-Duty Time
How many hours remain in your 14-hour on-duty window today. This counts down from the moment you go On Duty — not just when you start driving. When this reaches zero, you must go Off Duty or Sleeper Berth regardless of how much driving time remains.
Days in Current HOS Cycle
The number of days elapsed in your current 7-day (or 8-day) rolling cycle. This shows where you are in the cycle and how many days remain before the oldest day starts dropping off to contribute recap hours.
To access these fields in the app, see where to view recap hours in the driver app. For the fleet manager's equivalent view, see how fleet managers view driver recap hours from the Fleet Portal.
